InsuranceStall is an independent site designed to provide a few words of caution to the unwary explorer to prepare them for the experience of buying insurance online.

We make our revenue from the major insurance companies, just in the same way that search engines, comparison sites and affiliate engines also take payments from the insurers. Why do they pay us to do this? Because for them it’s way cheaper than buying customers through a TV campaign.

In return, we get and take the opportunity to try to highlight some of the areas of online insurance that we feel are most difficult to understand for the unwary customer.

The site doesn’t offer advice, though. We don’t have a favourite insurer or a recommended price comparison site. Quite the opposite, we at InsuranceStall treat buying insurance with a healthy dose of realism (did someone say ‘cynicism’?) and what better way than to air some of our favourite confusions?
